What do you need to know when you’re in business? Whether you’re new to business or have been running a business for a while, understanding the foundations of your business is a must to help ensure your business is successful. Join RightWay business advisor Anna Steele, for two workshop sessions where she will break down the basics of what all business owners need to know to understand their financials, and get the most from them.

November 20 & 27 2019, 1pm - 3pm

Arts Village

1240 Hinemaru Street

These are face to face sessions across two afternoons, where we will cover the following:

  • understanding your accounts – including how to read a balance sheet and a profit and loss statement
  • understanding tax – GST, income tax, and PAYE
  • your options for record keeping
  • the difference between cash and accrual in accounting
  • how you pay yourself as a business owner – wages or drawings?

This workshop is ideal for business owners who get a bit lost in all the tax and financial details in their business, but know how important it is. It's also a great opportunity to answer any questions you might have in your business.

This will be two, two hour sessions in a relaxed forum with plenty of opportunity for questions and extra guidance if required.

The cost is $195 + GST.

If you're keen to attend, fill in the form on the right and we will get in touch with all the information and a link to pay.
