Aubrey Calunsag 

Aubrey is part of our Bookkeeping team and brings valuable experience supporting New Zealand businesses with their accounting needs. Before joining RightWay, he worked with a start-up specialising in rental properties, where he handled everything from bank reconciliations to preparing annual accounts and filing tax returns. This hands-on experience has given him a real appreciation for the challenges business owners face and the importance of keeping things organised and accurate.

Aubrey has also spent time working as a US Tax Preparer, which gave him a unique perspective on different systems and approaches, and sharpened his eye for detail. That international background, combined with his local experience, means Aubrey is quick to spot opportunities and make processes run more smoothly.

What Aubrey enjoys most about his role is the sense of fulfilment that comes from bringing order to the numbers and taking the stress out of compliance for clients. Colleagues describe him as reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive, while clients appreciate his calm, organised approach that makes everything feel a little easier!
